Dr. William Cooke, Treating a Health Care Crisis

Dr. William Cooke is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine, specializing in family medicine, addiction medicine, and HIV medicine. In his recent book, Canary in the Coal Mine, Dr. Cooke tells the story of uncovering an unprecedented health care disaster in his rural Indiana town - an opioid epidemic turned HIV outbreak.

Today we talk about his journey, how is faith propels him, and how his activism story unfolded as he cared for the addicted and sick.
