Taking My Life Back: Surviving The Boston Marathon Bombing with Rebekah Gregory

Have you ever experienced something that made you take a hard look at who you are?

What was the driving force behind making a positive change?

Most people live their lives in a hamster wheel, not even realizing that they’re letting life just pass them by, and in most cases, it takes an extreme emotional event to wake them up.

Rebekah Gregory is a nationally recognized public speaker & author of the book, “Taking My Life Back,” whose life was forever changed due to the bombings at the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013.

This act of terrorism may have claimed her leg, but it could not claim her spirit. Since then, Rebekah has become a force to be reckoned with.

She has inspired audiences across the spectrum including the Ambassador of the Holy See in Rome, Italy, the United Nations, Asics, ESPN Women’s, and hundreds more.

In this episode of the Rock Your Money, Rock Your Life, Rebekah and I discuss what it was life living through the Boston Marathon Bombings, how she is using her experience to help others who suffer from PTSD, and why she chooses to be seen as a survivor and not a victim.
