Welcome to a brand new episode of Khandaan: A Bollywood Podcast! In this episode, Sujoy discusses DRISHYAM 2 starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna among others. We watched the Malayalam original when it released during the pandemic and were curious about how it translated into Hindi. Meanwhile, Asim watched the Telugu remake of another Malayalam film - GODFATHER starring Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan. Since Amrita had seen LUCIFER starring Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran when it came out, we ended up discussing the nature of remakes. Finally, Amrita watched the new season of DELHI CRIME, the Netflix show starring Shefali Shah and highly recommends it as a competent thriller.
