Jessica Carvo is an incredible singer and songwriter based in New York City. She not only creates music as a solo artist, but is also 1/2 of the indie band Satellite Mode, which has had over 20 million streams and toured nationally with acts such as Guster, Shoffy, The Band Perry, and more.  In this episode, Jess and I chat about her journey with music, how music has helped her, and continues to help her, heal emotionally and deal with anxiety, and we also dive into the importance of music and art programs for kids as a way to fully express emotions.
