SummaryI originally invested in LAACO when the stock was trading at roughly $2000/unit. The thesis was that you could buy the entire company at a significant discount to the private market value of the assets. You can read my original thesis, here. Recently, there has been news reports that the company may be in the process of selling their self-storage business which would be huge for shareholders. You can see a link to an article, here.
