A Mississippi judge is in critical condition after being shot outside the Meridian Courthouse. Police in Northeastern Nevada are investigating the murder of 16-year-old Gabrielle Lynn Ujlaky, whose body was discovered near Spring Creek last week. Seven members of the same family were killed in a suspected murder-suicide in North Carolina. Finally, in Japan, 30-year-old Satoshi Uematsu was sentenced to death by hanging for a 2016 mass murder in a care home for disabled people. 19 people died in the attack, and 20 more were seriously injured.
