796 - Alina Chan: Covid-19: What is the real truth? The Origin?
A couple of months back, I came down to a serious case of Covid-19/ Corona Virus, so I am really interested in the origin of the virus, why is Covid-19 different than the other flu-like disease, what was the origin, and what is the outlook for the future?
So I have Alina Chan, a molecular biologist specializing in gene therapy and cell engineering at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, who came on to talk about a new book that he co-author with Matt Ridley, Viral: The Search for the Origin of Covid-19. She talked about her findings, what could be the origin of Covid-19, why is Covid-19 so much deadlier than the other flu-like diseases, and could it or could it not be engineered?
We also talked about, what are the role of viruses in this world, could there be another virus that can eliminate the Covid-19 virus?
