Ep69 | Deeannah Seymoure - PH-D Feminine Health

In this episode, we are joined by Deeannah Seymoure, the founder of ph-D Feminine Health. Diana shares her journey from being a pharmaceutical industry veteran to becoming an accidental entrepreneur. After struggling with feminine care issues and not finding a holistic alternative, she discovered Boric Acid and consulted with OBGYNs to launch her product in 2014. Fast forward to today, her company has expanded to offer a wide range of holistic feminine care products, including a pH balanced feminine wash, a moisturizer, probiotics, menopause supplements, and menstrual support products.

Deeannah discusses how quickly people notice results with their products, especially with suppositories. She also mentions the side effects that people need to be aware of when using any of their products. To minimize the chance of any leakage or discharge, she recommends inserting the suppositories at night before going to bed. Diana also talks about their menopause product, which is a pill containing creatine, adaptogenic herbs, and other ingredients geared towards menopausal women.

The conversation shifts to the need for more support for women in regard to their health, as there is still a lot of misinformation out there. Diana is determined to keep raising her voice and creating awareness for everyone. She also mentions the challenges of being a woman-owned business and the reluctance of certain publications to spotlight the business or the category due to the stigma still associated with it. Enjoy!
