During the Kentucky Urban Music Award Show weekend  Ace MXNTVNV artist from Opelika, AL popped into Louisville to  network so he dropped by to chop it up about his past, what he is currently working on and where he plans to take his music in the near future. Ace is apart of the Collective Most Skillful People (M.S.P.) and the Vice President of upcoming record label SoloClefRecords, LLC, based in Atlanta,Georgia.

To kick this episode off I get a little bit of background information on life growing up in Opelika, AL, his family structure, and upbringing in the South. Ace talks about spending most of his time with his grandmother as his mother worked multiple to jobs while his dad was on the road driving trucks.

During his teenage/high school years Ace would play organized sports for his high school and would later play football for semi-pro football with the East Alabama Predators.

After a friend to MXNTVNV to pick up the mic and spit he would begin to record music where he released his projects “The Waybacc” and “B3GIN”. After releasing those projects Ace wanted to know more about the music business so he tells me how he took time out to go to school and get a better understanding of how the business works.

Before wrapping up the show Ace and I talk about the release of his song “about That” and his big project Just Understand Life (J.U.L.) and his 2021 project Before It Was Written which he recorded at the legendary BNDWTH Studios.

Tap in, press play, and listen as Ace MXNTVNV tells us about his path in music and the importance of learning the music business. Check this out now so you can get a clearer vision through this conversation.
