A tropical storm went through southern CA this past Sunday. On Saturday, Disneyland made an announcement that they were closely monitoring the storm and would make adjustments based on the latest information from the National Weather Service. At that time, the decision was made to close the parks early, with DCA closing at 9pm, Disneyland at 10pm, and Downtown Disney at 11pm. To prepare for the storm, Disneyland did things like clean storm drains, roll up construction scrims, and remove unsecured umbrellas. This wonderful event is a 5k walk through the Disneyland Resort to raise money for the Childrens Holpital of Orange County. On Sept 7th, guests will be able to enjoy all of the elegant and subtle details at this updated location.
