Julie Kalinowski Julie is the Co-Founder of The Fitzroy, Canada's leading dress rental service. Julie began her career in the fashion industry as a public relations and event management professional, working with clients in various emerging and established fashion companies. Before launching The Fitzroy as a dress rental business, Julie and her partner Angela Pastor owned and operated a successful seasonal pop-up shop and online retail business, Fitzroy Boutique. During that time, Julie worked for Corus Entertainment (previously Shaw Media) managing network and show sponsorships while running the pop-up retail business. In 2016, Julie a Angela shifted gears and re-launched as a strictly rental business, The Fitzroy, and have grown the business into Canada’s leading dress rental service in Canada. In her role as co-owner, buyer, PR/marketing director a chief executive officer, Julie brings her past work experiences, retail background and love of helping and advising others into The Fitzroy to truly bring "dress rental magic" to Canada. Angela Pastor Angela is the Co-Founder of The Fitzroy, Canada's leading dress rental service. Angela began her career by travelling and working in media internationally, spending time at both Television New Zealand and MTV Viacom Networks Europe. When she returned to Canada, she worked for CanWest Global (later Shaw Media), while preparing for the launch of her side business. With her partner Julie Kalinowski, she launched Fitzroy Boutique in 2011, a roaming seasonal pop-up shop and online store focused on importing the hard-to-find Australian labels she discovered while living abroad. In 2016, Julie a Angela shifted gears and re-launched as a strictly rental business, The Fitzroy, and have since grown the business into Canada’s go-to dress rental service for all occasions. In her role as co-owner, buyer, social media director a chief creative officer, Angela brings her past work and travel experiences, media background and love of creative styling into The Fitzroy to truly bring "dress rental magic" to Canada.
