Dr. Abbeyquaye is the founder of NSDxpert Education and Consultancy Services LLC. She is a highly trained registered nurse, author, consultant, entrepreneur, and administrator with over two decades of experience in the long-term healthcare industry. She has served virtually every level, from being a certified nurse assistant (CNA), staff nurse, and nursing supervisor to becoming a director of nursing. She is also a nurse educator who is on a mission to reform nurse staff development programs in long-term care facilities. In addition, Dr. Abbeyquaye is the owner and developer of the NurseLTC app! Dr. Abbeyquaye began her education at the University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. After immigrating to the United States, she earned a master's degree in public administration from Clark University, Worcester, Massachusetts. Her academic journey continued with a second Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Dr. Abbeyquaye is currently an assistant professor of nursing at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) University in Boston, Massachusetts. She is passionate about teaching, mentoring new nurses, and advocating for long-term care staff development and practice reforms.
