Sound of IR 2: VIR Legend Dr. David Kumpe
In this episode, which was first published in 2022 on the Sound of IR podcast as part of its VIR Legends series, host Eric Cyphers spoke with David Kumpe, MD, FSIR, about his career in interventional radiology. Dr. Kumpe was the director of IR at the University of Colorado from 1978-2005. He helped introduce balloon angioplasty in the United States, and he participated in the birth of neuro IR.
