Disney released the 2024 event Calendar for the Disneyland Resort. Some of the celebrations marked on the calendar are Lunar New Year, taking place January 23rd through February 18th, Celebrate Gospel February 17th and 24th, The Food and Wine Festival from March 1st through April 22nd, Star Wars – Season of the Force from April 5th through June 2nd, PixarFest from April 26th through August 4th, Halloween Time is early next year starting on August 23rd through October 31st, Plaza de la Familia from August 23rd through November 2nd, and the holidays arrive later on November 15th. – https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2023/12/disneyland-resort-announces-event-dates-and-more-for-2024/ https://www.micechat.com/374996-save-the-date-disneyland-announces-the-full-slate-of-events-for-2024/ PixarFest is back at the resort with some updates! From April 26th through August 4th, colorful decor and themed menu items will be available. At Disneyland, the return of “Together Forever: A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” with some new scenes will be performed. May 24th will be the premiere of the updated Fantasmic! at Disneyland. When it returns the Pirates of the Caribbean sequence will be transformed back into the Peter Pan sequence, as in the original. The last remaining walls that are up are around Donald’s Duck Pond. The rest of the area is open and looks great for guests. The Jungle Cruise has a few elements missing at the moment, which may take away from the experience. Squirt, the elephant that sprays water at guests is missing, the temple ruins that used to go over the water have also been removed, and one of the African Bull Elephants is also missing.
