In this Episode 2, Our Guest is Mr. Anil Swarup from India. Anil Swarup is an Indian author and retired Indian Administrative Service officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre and 1981 batch. Swarup in his 38 years of career has served in various capacities and later went on to become the Secretary to the Government of India. Before joining IAS, he worked as an Indian Police Service officer for one year. Swarup joined IAS in 1981 and is the recipient of the Director's gold medal for "best officer trainee" of his batch at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA). Mr. Swarup is the author of the book "Not just a Civil Servant" which was launched in February 2019. Post-retirement, He founded the "Nexus of Good" Foundation.About Nexus of Good Foundation (https://nexusofgood.org.in/)In today's day and age, information is power. We are also getting bombarded by the volume of information. Anil Swarup, former secretary of the government of India and author believes that we all inherently know what is “good”.
