In today’s episode,  We sit down with the Reggae girlz’ and Jamaicas #1 goalkeeper, Sydney Schnieder! When we recorded this podcast, Sydney was still a 19 year old, UNC Wilmington goalkeeper, trying to make a name for herself on the world stage.   Fast forward a week and she’s done just that. While her side unfortunately fell to giants Brazil in their opening match, Sydney still managed to grab the headlines. Along with some 1 vs 1’s saves, Sydney’s breakout moment came when she saved Andressas penalty kick in the 38th minute. Sydney got a big bottom hand to the ball to keep it out.
