Episode 29: Jennifer Malone - Stella's Ride
Stella's Ride is an employee engagement tool that connects teams with rescued dogs that need help finding a home. They are a combination of a doggie day out/team building program for businesses that are looking for innovative ways to engage their team.
They partner with rescue organizations who bring their dogs to a pre-determined location where a group of humans gets to know them, show them some love for an hour or so, and then post to their social media channels in hopes of finding them a home. Both people and pets get a much-needed (deserved) brain break from their daily environment. There is no cost to the rescue. They are provided a small stipend for participating, they get increased exposure of their dogs to new audiences, and Stella's Ride helps them fundraise.
