Episode 35: IN CONVERSATION with Tai Tupou, Youth Programme Development Manager at I AM HOPE
Today it is our great pleasure to welcome Tai Tupou, Youth Programme Development Manager at I AM HOPE. Tai dedicates his time travelling across Aotearoa educating youth about mental health and normalising asking for help. He shares his personal mental health story with humility, and encourages young people to not only express how they feel, but to reach out and support others. Tai is a breath of fresh air, passionate, and certainly influencing the lives of thousands with his empowering message.
I AM HOPE also funds free counselling sessions for young people, who are stuck on long waiting lists. On Friday 5th November, I AM HOPE will be hosting a Gumboot Friday fundraiser to help raise money for these greatly needed counselling services. If you wish to make a contribution, head to the link in our Instagram bio. Thank you Tai for your important mahi!
