Creative Pick-Me-Up: Amanda Palmer's "The Art of Asking"

Amanda Palmer's "The Art of Asking or How I learned to Stop Worrying and Let People Help" is a fantastic play-by-play of Amanda's life as a street performer, crowd-funding pioneer, TED speaker and lead singer/songwriter of The Dresden Dolls. She also gives detailed accounts of her relationship with Neil Gaiman, celebrated English author of short fiction, novels, comic books, graphic novels, nonfiction, audio theatre, and films. His works include the comic book series The Sandman and novels Stardust, American Gods, Coraline, and The Graveyard Book. Most importantly, Amanda gives great insight into what it means to be an artist.
