West Maui sits in the middle of Maui County with visibility in some areas of all Maui Nei islands: Kaho’olawe, Lana’I and Moloka’i. It has a rich history in Hawaiian royalty and culture, missionary endeavors and the sugar cane and whaling industries from many years ago. The beaches of Kaanapali are consistently named some of the best in America, and you can find awesome dining options from Lahaina to Kapalua. It’s definitely worth a day trip, and we’ll share some of our favorite stops on this episode.
