NBA Conferences must go and thoughts after Charlottesville

Being the middle of August, it’s time for us to talk about the one thing we know needs to change to improve the NBA, Conferences! On this episode of SLC Punks we discuss what consequences the lopsided Easter and Western NBA conferences have had on the Utah Jazz and, if Adam Silver wanted to change that, what would it take. We discuss whether Gordon Hayward would have stayed if there were no conferences and what things will be like for him in Boston with a much tougher media. We then go over the different teams in both conferences and discuss which teams would want the change and who wouldn’t. Finally, we talk about Utah Jazz president Steve Starks’ important message after the events in Charlottesville. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
