Scott Minoie: The story of Element Fresh

In this episode we’re joined by Scott Minoie, founder and managing director of Element Fresh, a Western-style restaurant chain focusing on fresh and healthy food. Minoie came to China in 1999, planning to stay for a couple months. Eighteen years later he’s still here, now running a successful restaurant chain with nearly 40 locations across nine cities. We talk to Minoie about his early days in China, how he managed to find success, and what advice he has for today’s entrepreneurs getting started in China.
