As we near the time of the United States Presidential election, fact-checking our politicians is quickly becoming a full-time job. Lucky for us, author Tim Ward has a handy guide to defending ourselves from the lies and putting the truth back into politics. Tim Ward is co-author of the book Pro Truth: A Practical Plan for Putting Truth Back into Politics. He’s on the Board of Directors that oversees the Pro Truth Pledge, founded by his co-author Dr. Gleb Tsipursky. Together they wrote Pro Truth to help people protect themselves from the lies of politicians, and to create a pro-truth movement that they believe is essential for democracy. Tim is also the co-owner of Intermedia Communications Training, Inc. Based in the Washington D.C. area, he works with global organizations helping them communicate better.
