I'm developing thoughts around the ideas of diversity, equity, and inclusion. It will be increasingly important, not just for the health of our organizations, but also for grants and other funding sources that are going to require us to have policies around this subject, that we are working towards these ideals. At the recent VCA Artworks conference, I heard Crystal Williams from Boston University talk about diversity and inclusion, and it helped me begin to create a framework for discussion at my own organization.
