Our featured event is the generous donation from the Beaverton Comcast Xfinity branch of 500 bags of items for students to use during Comprehensive Distance Learning. The bags include USB charging ports, headphones, a tablet/phone stand, and other goodies that were brainstormed along with HSD’s Family Engagement team. They have been distributed through school food pantries, home visits, and other socially-distanced interactions between Family Engagement team members and students and families. Many thanks to Christopher Friz and the rest of the team at Beaverton Comcast Xfinity for their ongoing partnership.
