Our Featured Event is a virtual tour of Hilhi’s renovations hosted by Principal Dave Vickery. After several phases spread across two years, Hilhi’s last bond projects were completed last month, with landscaping improvements coming soon. Every building at Hilhi was renovated, including: HVAC, seismic and security upgrades; new lighting; and new classroom furniture. About 2,000 square feet were added to the automotive technology space. The main parking lot was redesigned, and both the main and student parking lots received fresh coats of asphalt and striping. Hilhi’s $36.7 million in renovations, furniture, technology, and the 2018 installation of a new turf field were made possible by the 2017 Hillsboro School District bond, passed by voters in November 2017.
