STUDENT SUICIDES BY YEAR
According to the Union Ministry of Education, 98 students committed suicide in the past five years at higher education institutions such central universities, IITs, IIMs, NITs, and IISERs. Higher education institutes (HEIs) have so far documented 20 occurrences of student suicide.
