That means when it's closed, the only way to continue on the towpath is to go up and over the mountain the tunnel goes through. I had never done it. Until this trip. Part 1 focuses on my ride to camp on the downstream side of the tunnel buuuut it's a little more interesting than that. If you followed me on Insta you heard something happened(TM) Turns out I was recording, which is fun and awesome. HOWEVER the sound quality leading up to it was miserable. Like super bad.
