Without Permission
Just the term “Human Trafficking” makes us queasy. Although there is no universally accepted definition of sexual exploitation trafficking, the term encompasses the organized movement of mostly women and children, within & between countries for sex work using physical coercion, deception and bondage through forced debt. Simply put, it is the illegal trade of human beings for commercial sexual exploitation or forced labor. It is so widespread that the United Nations adopted the international Trafficking Protocol legal agreement in 2000 in Palermo, Italy to suppress and punish trafficking, especially in woman and children. Debbie Johnson, the founder of Without Permission, will discuss a crime that is reaching epidemic proportions across the globe.
