What is it like to date and have sex in our digital age? What are some of the unique challenges that sex educators experience in todays world? This episode is the second installment in a two-part series as Lexi Sylver explores the reality of what its like to be a sexuality educator with her guests, Dirty Lola and Francisco Ramirez, co-hosts of Sex Probz on New York Magazine’s The Cut. In this part of the series, they also talk about how we can help people maintain a positive body image and self-confidence in a world where Photoshopping is the standard and Western societies concept of beauty is unnatural, unattainable and non-inclusive. We talk about how we can redefine the concept and definitions of what sex actually means and how to talk about sex and the concept of virginity in a way that encompasses all bodies, genders and sexual orientations. Finally, they examine sexual stigmas and how we can remove stigma and shame from the way we feel, talk about and express our sexuality.
