S2 E2: Shutting Down the Government and Why We Need the Wall
Dennis and Christian are waiting on their new equipment from Westwood One, so they’re in a music studio in Santa Barbara, which reminds Dennis of a favorite David Bowie story from his friend Peter Noone. Then, Dennis talks about reading Paul Shaffer’s book, how his wife saw the Cream Reunion, and the “Bohemian Rhapsody” film. There are technical problems as they try to connect with AJ Benza, who will hopefully be rescheduled for next week. They talk about Jeff Bezos, Dennis’s regular hikes with Jimmy Connors, the recent polling that blames President Trump for the recent government shutdown, which leads to a conversation on the wall and border security, the specifics of the DEFCON system and much more!
