Episode 44 and Wendi and Dfernando's guest interview is writer, actor, producer and director Steve Basilone. Steve Basilone is known as a producer and writer on the long-running ABC comedy THE GOLDBERGS. After writing an episode for the ABC comedy HAPPY ENDINGS, he soon became a writer on the NBC comedy COMMUNITY and the recent NBC comedy INDEBTED (starring Fran Drescher). He was also co-producer and writer on the THE MICHAEL J. FOX SHOW. As an actor, he was seen in the films PROZAC NATION and LUKE AND BRIE ARE ON A FIRST DATE. Steve is now making his feature film directorial debut with the romantic comedy-drama LONG WEEKEND, which he also wrote and acts in. The film stars 2-time Emmy Award nominee Finn Wittrock, Zoë Chao, Casey Wilson, Academy Award winner Jim Rash, Damon Wayans Jr., Jess Jacobs and Wendi McLendon-Covey. LONG WEEKEND is one of the first feature films to be released theatrically during the COVID pandemic. He lives in Los Angeles with Jenny, his 3-legged garbage-consuming canine companion and hosted the TERRIBLY FUNNY with Steve Basilone podcast.
