Wendi and Dfernando's twenty-sixth episode and their guest interview is actress, comedian, singer, producer and writer Shannon DeVido. On television she played nemesis comedian Andrea Mumford for 3 Seasons on the critically acclaimed Hulu original series DIFFICULT PEOPLE. Other work on television: Netflix's INSATIABLE, Comedy Central's DELCO PROPER, NIGHTCAP, LAW a ORDER: SVU and has appeared on THE NIGHTLY SHOW WITH LARRY WILMORE. On film she has executive produced and written the short films GOOD BEER and THE SIBLINGS LIEBENCRANTZ, and has appeared in NANCE + SYDNEY, SPECIAL NEEDS, LOOP, AUDITION and CATCHING UP. Upcoming is the SXSW 2020 Film Festival World Premiere film BEST SUMMER EVER, starring opposite Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard. As a stand up, she's performed around the country, including the Kennedy Center in D.C. with comedian Josh Blue. Between projects she continues to work with her improv groups Wussy Riot, Hell on Wheels, Axis of Evil and her YouTube channel STARE AT SHANNON breaks societal standards of disability through humor. And on Episode 26, Wendi and Dfernando do a little catching up on Wendi's non-stop schedule filming Season 8 of THE GOLDBERGS and Dfernando resuming his Art Director work.
