Episode 25 - The Twenty-Fifth One... and Dana Moore

Wendi and Dfernando's twenty-fifth episode and their guest interview is dancer, actress, teacher and acclaimed Fosse reconstructeur  Dana Moore.    Dana is a twelve time veteran of the Broadway stage. She has been featured in countless Broadway musicals, from A CHORUS LINE, DANCIN', THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES, ON YOUR TOES, SUGAR BABIES, SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, CHICAGO and FOSSE.   Now known for her work with the Verdon Fosse Legacy as a reconstructeur of Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon's legendary choreography, she began her association with the legendary duo when she was cast in Bob Fosse's DANCIN'.  She continued working with Bob and Gwen in their 1986 Broadway revival of SWEET CHARITY, where she led the iconic "Rich Man's Frug" dance sequence as the lead Frug dancer.  She later went on to appear in the Broadway revival of CHICAGO as well as the multi-award winning revue FOSSE, which showcased the work of Bob Fosse's work from stage, film and television.   She served as dance coach and choreographic reconstructeur for several episodes of the multi-award winning FX limited series FOSSE/VERDON, reconstructing Bob Fosse's original choreography for the "Big Spender" number from SWEET CHARITY and the "Who's Got the Pain?" number from DAMN YANKEES.   Dana is also on faculty both at Steps on Broadway and Marymount Manhattan College. Internationally, she has worked as teacher and choreographer in Toulouse, Oslo, Pori, Cypress, Copenhagen (Royal Danish Ballet) and with the Jazz Musical Theatre Program at Jacob's Pillow in Massachusetts and the Open Jar Institute.
