Do you love superhero movies but need more glamour? We’ve got the solution - we watched Supergirl (1984) with Brian Boskind and we’re already shopping for abandoned amusement parks.  Supergirl (Helen Slater) gets whisked away to Earth and is bedeviled by wicked witch Selena (Faye Dunaway) her henchwoman Bianca (Brenda Vaccaro) and runner up in the Severus Snape lookalike contest Nigel (Peter Cook).  Selena serves a love potion to a hunky gardener in can of Schlitz Malt Liquor and Faye makes that nonsense look glamorous!  Let’s be real: Supergirl walked so Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman could run.  It’s Episode 29 of Movies That Made Us Gay!
