The Preamble of the Indian Constitution has become a rallying point for lakhs of anti-CAA and NRC protesters across India. The preamble is being read out every single day on the streets of several cities. However, the Hindi version of the Preamble is hardly being read out, possibly because it uses ornate and archaic Hindi. So in this special episode of Puliyabaazi, we attempt a simpler version of the preamble. Our hope here is that listeners will create similar versions of the preamble in other Indian languages. नागरिकता संशोधन अधिनियम के कई विरोध प्रदर्शनों में संविधान की उद्देशिका का लाखों-करोड़ों लोग उच्चार कर रहे है | इससे प्रेरणा लेते हुए हमने सोचा कि इस उद्देशिका को सरल भाषा में लिखा जाना चाहिए | इसी प्रयास पर हमारा यह छोटा सा स्पेशल एपिसोड | आशा करते है कि यह सुनकर श्रोतागण साड़ी भारतीय भाषाओँ में उद्देशिका का सरल अनुवाद करेंगे और हमे puliyabaazi@gmail.com पर भेजेंगे जिससे हम आपके नाम सहित इन संस्करणों को एक साथ पब्लिश करेंगे|

सरल भाषा में संविधान का मुखड़ा कुछ इस प्रकार है:

हम, भारत के लोग, सच्चे मन से भारत को एक
ख़ुदमुख़्तार समाजवादी पंथनिरपेक्ष लोकतांत्रिक गणराज्य में गठित करते हैं
ताकि सभी नागरिकों को मिले:

न्याय - सामाजिक, आर्थिक, और राजनैतिक,
आज़ादी - सोच, इज़हार, यक़ीन, धर्म और इबादत की,
बराबरी - दर्जे और अवसर की,
भाईचारा - जिससे व्यक्ति की गरिमा और देश की एकता दोनों बरक़रार रहे,

इस प्रण के साथ इस संविधान सभा में २६ नवम्बर, १९४९ को यह संविधान अपनाते है |
