You are newly widowed. At first there is no time to think much past the next few days, even if you could through the fog of grief. There is notifying others, arranging the funeral, maybe additional special services to be held. Sympathy cards are flowing into your mailbox. Others are right there for you. But after a few weeks, it all starts to settle in. The funeral and services are over. The sympathy cards start to dwindle.
