Connie Sgarbossa is the lead singer for the band, SeeYouSpaceCowboy. SYSC is an American hardcore punk band formed in San Diego in 2016. It was founded by guitarist Jesse Price, vocalist Connie Sgarbossa, Drummer Ethan Sgarbossa, and guitarist Taylor Allen. Their name is taken from a phrase shown on many of the end cards of the 1998 anime Cowboy Bebop. In this episode, Connie discusses growing up in Cali scene, explains "Sasscore", the influence of her stepdad and the introduction into the hardcore /metal scenes, anime, getting signed to Pure Noise Records fairly quickly, being a trans woman in music and hardcore, and more.
