Twenty Seventh Word 11

This episode is based on the "Twenty Seventh Word" in the Words by Bediuzzaman Said Nursi. "Twenty Seventh Word” is on the possibility of ijtihad in the  present time, the wisdom in the differences of opinion among various madhabs, or schools of jurisprudence in Islam, and the elevated rank of  the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)  above saints of God and all other people except prophets. This episode concludes the treatise with three important questions on the superiority of the companions. Read and interpreted by Dr. Mustafa Tuna. A rough translation of the section that is discussed is posted here on the Reflections-RN website. This is a work in progress and should not be considered a finalized translation. It is only meant to help in understanding the recorded discussion. For more on the Risale-i Nur, visit www.reflections-RN.org.
