Doordarshan's Captain Vyom remake in the works The hit Doordarshan series Captain Vyom, which aired during the late 90s, starring Milind Soman is set to be remade into a web series. The news is yet another setback for the film which has already lost its titular character after lead actor Chadwick Boseman tragically passed away in 2020. Marvel has confirmed that there are no plans yet to recast Boseman’s role but will instead shift focus on the other prominent figures of Wakanda. .  Freida Pinto to play the lead in a memoir adaptationIndian actress Frieda Pinto, who recently appeared in Mr Malcolm's List is set to star in a new memoir adaptation titled  Both/And. She will essay the lead role as Huma Abedin, who was Hilary Clinton’s vice chair for the 2016 Presidential campaign.
