3: PM Modi slams past governments; makes politics of performance pitch.
The Prime Minister slammed previous governments during his address at the 17th edition of the HTLS. He said that in the past political parties would make lofty promises before elections but never fulfill them. PM Modi said that governments should have the pressure to perform and all work should be done with the vision of a better tomorrow in mind.
