COVID-19 / Novel Corona Virus infection - I hope it goes "VIRAL."
This episode is a bonus, unique and different episode, concentrated in the public interest about this topic, with the purpose of enlightening everyone about the disease and the current situation. I can speak with authority about how I see the case from my perspective, but also how we are living it day by day.
I found the absolute need to provide an unbiased, objective summary about COVID-19, from its suspected origins, the virology, epidemiology, clinical presentation, treatment, and future expectations as an Emergency Physician, a healthcare provider, in the frontlines of the infection in the USA.
My duty as a Doctor is to educate my community, not only the Medical providers but also the lay public regarding the current pandemic. It shall pass, and we will beat it, we have to have social awareness, and stop being selfish, we must care about the commonwealth and public safety when it's about preventing the propagation of this virulent condition.
