Memorial Day Special
Some we lost in service to our country like the military men who volunteered in the testing of Apollo 1. Some who’ve committed suicide because survivor’s guilt and the trauma of combat is too great. Our “greatest generation” who are dwindling in number but still remember the horrors of losing their brothers in WWII. And even the “unknown” or missing we remember and who are ceremoniously guarded in Arlington. We pause to remember with Andrew Biggio author of “The Rifle,” Jeff Gotesfeld author of “21 Steps: Guarding the Tomb of the Unknow Soldier,” Gretchen Smith, founder of CodeOfVets.com, and Ryan Walters author of “Apollo 1: The Tragedy That Put Us On The Moon.”
