New York Attorney General Letitia James made a stunning announcement last month: She is suing the city of New York and its police department for excessive use of force during Black Lives Matter protests last year. In doing so, she became the first state attorney general to sue a police department. We hear from the protestors who were out on the streets and get the perspective of the NYPD.
