Leading Western Australian owner / breeder Bob Peters has made the difficult decision to sell three-time Group 1 winner Arcadia Queen at the upcoming Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale, joining champion New Zealander Melody Belle at this month’s Gold Coast auction. Yesterday’s confirmation that Arcadia Queen would be a supplementary entry for the National Sale comes just days after Peters sold another of his top race mares, this season’s Oakleigh Plate winner Celebrity Queen, for $2.5 million at last Friday’s Inglis Chairman’s Sale in Sydney
