Boyd Sr. or as I know him Jab Write on the show today to discuss his upbringing starting with being born as a Afro-Latina living in Harlem, New York until the passing of his mother and father being incarcerated. Moving and living in Franklin, KY, playing basketball, to later ending up incarcerated himself. After that phase of life Jab would go on to graduate from University of Louisville with a BA in Communication, to later writing his book “Thoughts of the Confined Mind” a book of poems that are a creative way to manipulate a movement of magnificent individuals in a direction opposite of destruction, by teaching them to change the way they observe and think.
