LIAM 060 – A Great Cloud of Witnesses
People ask me why I chose "Life Is A Marathon" as my life's motto. It's comes from my interpretation of the Bible verse "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses... let us run with endurance the race that is set before us!" (Hebrews 12:1) The problem is what we believe the "great cloud of witnesses" is saying, yelling, at us. Is it condemnation, criticism and ridicule? Or is it shouts of encouragement, love, and support? How you run your race will depend on how you interpret the cloud of witnesses.
