Here to talk about things we have never discussed before, we have Derek Schell. Derek is a former D2 college athlete and the first openly gay NCAA basketball player. He worked with Nike on the #betrue campaign and happens to be Sammy’s cousin! This episode will dive into coming out as a gay athlete, life after sport, and the prevalence of eating disorders in the LGBTQ community.
