Episode 45: Interview with Alisia Essig

In this episode Alisia shares the story of her family. They had 6 beautiful children under the age of 8, including 8 month old twins when her whole world changed. Her 37 year old husband suffered a stroke. She shares what she calls was “their wake up call.” Her story will inspire you and honestly scare you a bit to make you want take better care of your body today. Alicia grew up in Centerville, Utah Graduated in Communications and Political Science from the University of Utah. Received my Masters degree in Public Administration from The George Washington University. Worked on Capitol Hill as a Communications Director and Legislative Aide for Congressman Chaffetz from Jan 2009- Nov 2011. Worked on Mia Love’s Campaign for Congress as her Press Secretary from Jan 2012-Jan 2015. Certified Pilates, barre and spin instructor and have been teaching fitness classes since 2008. I currently have 6 children ages 9, 7, 5, 3 and twin 1 year olds. Graduated from eCornell’s Plant based Nutrition course in November 2020. Currently reside in the DC area.
