Episode 8 Narcissists use of isolation
Isolation is a part of the power and control wheel not limited to those with NPD, but a part of the arsenal of weapons to tear down those victimized by their abusers. Isolation gives the abuser a pseudo sense of power, yet they fear losing their victim and in turn losing control. Basically, a person is psychologically and often times physically held hostage and terrorized to fear leaving.
